Stauffer Academy is proud to present the course taught by Oliver Condy, principal editor of BBC Music Magazine for more than 15 years, which is a unique opportunity to discover the world of music publishing and journalism. During the two-day course, participants will understand what makes a good review, how to conduct interviews, how to write effective news stories, and the best ways to express their ideas. There will be discussions about the role of social media, and the different ways it can be used. In addition, there will be an opportunity to discover from the inside the world of general and specialist music magazines to understand the art of good writing, design and photography in the service of music.
The course will be held Nov. 21-22, 2022 at the Stauffer Center for Strings.
