To conclude the annual courses of the 2022/23 academic year, the Accademia Stauffer presents an exclusive series of concerts, featuring the students alongside their Maestros – Salvatore Accardo, Bruno Giuranna and Franco Petracchi, as well as the young chamber ensembles prepared by Maestro Antonio Meneses and the Quartetto di Cremona. All the events will be streamed live from Palazzo Stauffer’s Sala Stradivari, connecting the city of Cremona with the global music community.

STUDENTS OF THE QUARTETTO DI CREMONA IN CONCERT
The first concert will take place on 22 May at 4 p.m. and will feature the Quartetto Thumòs and the Trio Sheliak, the students of the Quartetto di Cremona. In the intimate and elegant interior of the Sala Stradivari, the young musicians will perform two masterpieces of the romantic and impressionistic repertoire – Quartet No. 2 op. 51 by Johannes Brahms and Maurice Ravel’s Trio op. 67.

SALVATORE ACCARDO, FRANCO PETRACCHI AND STAUFFER STUDENTS IN CONCERT
In the second concert on 25 May at 6 p.m., Maestros Salvatore Accardo and Franco Petracchi will join some of the most gifted Stauffer students in a program that includes the Quintet op. 81 by Antonin Dvořák and “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” K. 525 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A unique opportunity to listen to two acclaimed figures of Italian music together with emerging young musicians of outstanding talent.

BRUNO GIURANNA AND STAUFFER STUDENTS IN CONCERT
The series of May concerts will conclude on 26 May at 6 p.m. with a program dedicated to the romantic repertoire. Together with Maestro Giuranna, the young musicians will perform the Quartet No. 3 op. 60 by Johannes Brahms, while the ensemble prepared by Maestro Meneses will play the Trio No. 4 op. 90 by Antonín Dvořák.
