Winner of the prestigious Heidelberger Frühling Music Prize 2018, Montero recently debuted with the San Francisco Symphony (Edward Gardner), the New World Symphony (Michael Tilson Thomas), the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony of Tokyo (Aziz Shokhakimov), the Orquesta de Valencia (Pablo Heras-Casado) and with the Bournemouth Symphony (Carlos Miguel Prieto), as Artist in Residence in the 2019-2020 season.

The Collaborative Pianist is a masterclass dedicated to the role of the pianist in chamber music.The masterclass, open to chamber music ensembles with piano, is divided into two parts: the first is reserved for pianists, who will study the proposed pieces to deepen their awareness of their part.
