Biography

Lydia Connolly is Board Director and Head of Artist Management with HarrisonParrott. She was the first woman to read Music as an undergraduate at New College, Oxford and is a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music.  She is also an alumna of the Strategic Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, Oxford.  Lydia is a Board member of the International Artist Managers’ Association and a trustee of the HarrisonParrott Foundation.   She speaks regularly at industry conferences and seminars including IAMA, ABO, Women in Music, Southbank Centre, Institut Francais, Classical:NEXT – and is invited to work with students and young music industry professionals, including within the ABO’s “Find Your Way” programme and for Tri-Borough Music Hub.  Lydia has additionally been a panellist for the Global Leaders Program and for La Maestra – Taki Alsop Speakers Forum.

HarrisonParrott - Management

In the 2022-2023 academic year, Stauffer Center for Strings is proud to present a new collaboration with HarrisonParrott classical music agency. During the course on artist management, HarrisonParrott’s professionals will guide the students through the specifics of the agent’s profession, concentrating on the development of the artist’s career.
