Kang\u2019s playing also has been lauded as \u201celegant\u201d, \u201cprecise\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u202f\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">as well as \u201cpure\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span>\u00a0<span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201ctone-passionate without ever losing a sense of control\u201d in the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Boston Musical Intelligencer<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Her debut CD recording with pianist Sergei Kvitko \u201cMosaic\u201d was released in 2022. Among many positive reviews, Gramophone Magazine noted \u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Part of the allure is her golden and glowing tone but the subtlety of her shading is just as transfixing.\u201d \u201cHer technique is close to flawless\u201d \u201cA terrific programme in every way\u201d. It has won the gold medal as recommended CD on the Mel\u00f3mano Magazine in Spain.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Its tracks were selected to be on the \u201cBest New Classical Music\u201d playlist on Spotify as well as the \u201cNew Music Friday\u201d playlist of American Society of Composers and Publishers.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ms. Kang appeared as soloist collaborating<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0with major orchestras such as Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Madrid, Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Nagoya Philhamonic Orchestra working with renowned conductos including Ivor Bolton, Michiyoshi Inoue, and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Moreno.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">She studied at Central Conservatory in Beijing, the New England Conservatory in Boston, and, as a young soloist for further master degree at the Kronberg Academy in Germany, under the guidance of renowned teachers such as Nobuko Imai, Kim Kashkashian, Garth Knox, Donald Weilerstein, Miriam Fried, and Changhai Wang.\u202f<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ms. Kang has been appointed as Viola Faculty to take over Kim Kashkashian\u2019s post at the New England Conservatory in Boston from September 2024. Since 2016, Kang has been active as assistant professor alongside the renowned Nobuko Imai at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid. Most recent, she\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">opened her class as professor\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">at Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica Forum Musikae in Madrid. In recent years, Kang has taught masterclasses for viola and chamber music in prestigious<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0institutions such as Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Franz Liszt Academy of Music.
