He performs as a soloist in the world\u2019s greatest concert halls and plays from the repertoires of all periods.<\/p>\n<p>He has recroded several CDs on the \u201cSolstice\u201d label, including works by Ravel, Scelsi, Berio and Boulez, which have won major awards. He has recorded the entire \u0153uvre of virtuoso violinist Pablo de Sarasate and received Del Duca prize awarded by the French Academy of Fine Arts and the SACEM\u2019s Enesco prize.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, he participated in Matthias Pintscher\u2019s double monographic CD in which he performs the concerto\u00a0<em>Mar\u2019eh<\/em>\u00a0for violin and ensemble. In 2023, he also recorded the\u00a0<em>Trio for violin, horn and piano<\/em>\u00a0by Gy\u00f6rgy Ligeti, in the double monographic CD dedicated to him (Alpha Classics).<\/p>\n<p>Having been the unanimous choice for first prize at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), where he studied under Jean-Jacques Kantorow and Jean Lenert, he went on to train in Bloomington (USA, Indiana University) with Alexandre Benderski and Miriam Fried before winning the postgraduate Concours des Avant-sc\u00e8nes at the Paris Conservatoire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"last column\">\n<p>During his training Di\u00e9go Tosi entered the most prestigious international competitions, including the Paganini in Genoa, the Rodrigo in Madrid, the Valentino Bucchi in Rome, winning every time. He also won many awards in various international competitions, including those of Wattrelos, Germans Claret and Moscow.<\/p>\n<p>From 2010 to 2020, he was artistic director of the Tautavel Festival.<\/p>\n<p>With the certificate of aptitude for artistic teaching, he was a professor at the Conservatoire de Perpignan from 2002 to 2022, and has been teaching at the Conservatoire de Gennevilliers since 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Di\u00e9go Tosi joined the Ensemble intercontemporain as a violinist in 2006.
