The first appointment will take place from the<strong>\u00a016th\u00a0<\/strong>to the\u00a0<strong>21st<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>December<\/strong>, when the Japanese University will host the\u00a0<strong>Quartetto di Cremona<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0<strong>Quartetto Goldberg<\/strong>\u00a0for a series of masterclasses and concerts. On\u00a0<strong>December 20th<\/strong>, the professors and students will also perform at the\u00a0<strong>Italian Cultural Institute\u00a0<\/strong>in<strong>\u00a0Tokyo<\/strong>. The programme will continue in\u00a0<strong>February 2025<\/strong>, when a few ensembles of Japanese students from the Tokyo University of the Arts will be in residence in Cremona for an intensive period of study and concerts.<\/p>\n<p>The project is carried out in collaboration with the\u00a0<strong>\u201cAntonio Stradivari\u201d Consortium of Violinmakers\u00a0<\/strong>of<strong>\u00a0Cremona<\/strong>, which will present an exhibition of string instruments at the Tokyo University of the Arts and the Italian Cultural Institute.\u00a0<strong>Giorgio Grisales<\/strong>, the President of the Consortium, will also give a lecture on the art of Cremonese lutherie and lead a workshop on the care and maintenance of string instruments.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Stauffer Academy and the\u00a0Tokyo University of the Arts\u00a0have agreed on a multi-annual educational and artistic exchange programme.
