Maxim Vengerov, Guest Professor of the Violin Course

“Gloriously rich, focused sound… nimble, immaculate technique… sense of meaning and purpose he injects into even single notes”: this is how The Strad has described Maxim Vengerov, one of the greatest violinists of our time. For the first time at the Stauffer Academy, Vengerov joined the Violin Course as a Guest Professor from April 29 to 30, bringing his artistic legacy forged on the world’s most prestigious stages. A magnetic performer who blends precision with passion, he approaches violin playing with a vision shaped by intellectual depth, dazzling technique and a rare communicative sensitivity.
