Since 1970, the Stauffer Foundation has stood alongside the leading academic institutions in the city of Cremona. With the aim of fostering and encouraging the access to professional training for traditional violin making and research in musicology, the Foundation supports with a dedicated scholarship program students for the International School of Violin Making and the Department of Musicology and Cultural Heritage in Cremona (University of Pavia).
