On 28 September 2025, two concerts were held at the Sala Zelioli Lanzini at Cremona Fiere as part of the Fazioli Piano Festival, organised in collaboration between the Stauffer Academy and Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival.
Pianists Luigi Carroccia and Francesca Antonucci, together with the Quartetto Doré and double bassist Edoardo Dolci, students of the Stauffer Academy, performed Fryderyk Chopin’s two Piano Concertos in their version for piano and string quintet.
Joined by the Quartetto Doré and Edoardo Dolci, Luigi Carroccia performed Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 11, while Francesca Antonucci performed Piano Concerto No. 2, Op. 21. In their chamber version, Chopin’s two masterpieces revealed a clearer, more transparent texture, highlighting the dialogue between piano and strings and the richness of their melodic lines.
