Stauffer & Concentus Moraviae

On 16 April 2025, Essere Quartetto was presented at the Sala Manfredini of the Museo Civico Ala Ponzone in Cremona, marking the beginning of a new collaboration between the Stauffer Academy and Concentus Moraviae, an international chamber music festival in the Czech Republic.

The concert brought together the Quartetto Arola and the Quartetto di Genova, ensembles from the Stauffer Academy’s String Quartet Course, and the Suk Quartet from the Czech Republic. The programme featured works by Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Joseph Haydn and Josef Suk, bringing different periods and musical languages into dialogue through the string quartet repertoire.

The event launched a new partnership with Concentus Moraviae, centred on the exchange of chamber ensembles and artistic projects and designed to provide young musicians with further opportunities for performance and artistic exchange in an international setting.
