Antonio Sciancalepore, the First Double Bass of the Orchestra of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, will conduct a masterclass dedicated to the orchestral repertoire. The lessons will focus on the excerpts from some of the fundamental works of the classical and romantic symphonic literature:
- The symphonies of Mozart no. 39, 40 e 41
- The symphonies of Beethoven no. 3, 5, 7 e 9
- The symphonies of Brahms no. 1 e 2
The course is reserved for the students of the High Specialisation Course in Double Bass at the Stauffer Academy. Each student is provided with one individual lesson during the three days of the course.
