Congratulations to the Eos Quartet!
On Oct. 29 at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, the finals of the 77th Geneva International String Quartet Competition, one of the most important international music competitions in the world, took place.
Among the six quartets that landed in the semifinals, of the total 23 entries, the only Italian was the Eos Quartet, former students of the Cremona Quartet at Stauffer between 2017 and 2021.
The Roman musicians, already awarded the Farulli Prize in 2018, and prize-winners at the International Rubinstein Competition in Düsseldorf, Sergio Dragoni Competition in Milan (2019), and Orpheus Competition in Winterthur (First Prize, 2020), are one of the youngest and most appreciated ensembles in the world of chamber music.
We are proud of the achievement, best of luck for all your upcoming musical challenges!
