Stauffer Summer Music Festival – Cello Consort

Home > Stauffer Summer Music Festival – Cello Consort

The Stauffer Summer Music Festival started with an ensemble of eight cellos guided by Giovanni Sollima: together with their Professor, the students animated the nocturnal garden with the sounds of their instruments.

A night full of unexpected combinations and overwhelming musical surprises, from the 17th century to today 🎻

Giovanni Sollima played the copy of the “Stradivari Ex-Cristiani 1700” cello, made by the Consorzio Liutai “A.Stradivari” Cremona and currently owned by the Stauffer Foundation.
