Stauffer and “A. Stradivari” Consortium of Violinmankers: Quartetto Rilke in Piazza Stradivari
On 5 October at 11 am, under the porticoes of Piazza Stradivari, the Quartetto Rilke, students of Stauffer’s String Quartet Course, will perform as part of the “A. Stradivari” Consortium of Violinmakers’ activities during Cremona Musica. The programme features music by Clément Janequin, Philip Glass and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The event is part of the longstanding partnership between the Stauffer Foundation and the “A. Stradivari” Consortium of Violinmakers, rooted in a shared commitment to preserve Cremona’s great violin-making tradition and keep it alive through the work of performers. This year, the partnership takes on special significance as the Consortium marks the 30th anniversary of its foundation.
